Since I was in my early teens I have been a caregiver

I started by taking care of younger family members and pets of friends and family. I became a preschool teacher when I was 17 and won a "teacher of the year" award in 2004 from the school I was working at in Plymouth.

After working in that field for about 8 years I decided to become a private nanny.

I worked for a WONDERFUL family with 3 AMAZING children and a LOVEABLE cat for about 14 years

As the children got older I was starting to wonder...what's next for my life?

Over the years I have had many ideas about what I wanted to do.

Then I thought, "what do I love the most?"...animals! Especially my dog Zee!

And "what have I always loved being?"...a caregiver!

That's what I should do! Be an animal caregiver!

Thus, was the start of Bestiocracy

My dog rules my world, why not help others whose pets rule theirs?

 

I  volunteer at the Standish Humane Society, an amazing no kill cat shelter in Duxbury, where I help clean the cat rooms, spoon feed kittens and spend time with the cats that are waiting for their forever homes.

I was a volunteer with an organization called "Little Angels" as a foster mom for dogs who were rescued and needed to be in a loving home environment until they were ready and able to be placed in forever homes too.

On top of the simple fact that I just LOVE animals...

I am Pet First Aid and CPR certified

I am bonded and insured

I am extremely responsible, reliable, hardworking and detail oriented

And last but not least, I am helpful

I want you to know that I can be there when you can't. I can walk your dog/s when you're at work or just don't feel up to going out in inclement weather. I want you to be able to go on vacation and not worry the whole time you're gone. Most of all, I want you to know that I will care for your pet/s as I care for my own

I want to make your best friend one of my friends too!
